ST LOUIS, MO.-- Illinois State swimming and diving landed 11 athletes on the 2025 MVC Scholar-Athlete team, announced by the Missouri Valley Conference league office on Friday morning. Of the 11 Redbirds honored, seven earned a 4.0 GPA.
Highlighting the honorees are ISU's All-MVC First team selections in seniors Mia Snow, Emma Feltzer, and Eva Reyes who held strong performances at the 2025 MVC Championships. Snow brought home a silver medal in the 100-fly with a school record time of 52.81 in the A-Final. Feltzer claimed bronze in the 50-freestyle with a program record time of 22.80. Finally, Reyes would take home a silver medal in the 1-Meter Diving Championships.
Scholar-Athlete honors require athletes to have competed in the MVC Swimming and Diving Championships and maintain either a 3.5 grade-point average and obtain all-conference honors, achieve a 3.7 grade-point average and top 24 finish in individual event at championships, or maintain a 3.9 grade-point average and participate in the MVC championship (including non-scorers).
