NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State baseball team put together a strong all-around performance on Saturday at Duffy Bass Field, topping Missouri State, 7-3.
The Redbirds (22-22 overall, 11-9 MVC) had four players with RBIs (Judah Morris, Josh Outlaw; Graham Mastros and Luke Stulga each had two).
Freshman Toby Schriefer provided two strong innings of relief to earn the save while junior Tyrelle Chadwick recorded the win after going seven innings.
The Bears fall to 24-20 overall and 14-6 in the MVC.

- ILS brought three runs home in the 2nd off an RBI groundout, sac fly, and Missouri State throwing error to lead 3-0 early.
- Missouri State got on the board in the 3rd with an RBI single to trim the lead to 3-1
- The Bears added a run in the 5th inning with an RBI groundout to make it 3-2
- A Judah Morris RBI single in the 5th built the Redbird lead back to 4-2
- The Redbirds scored three runs in the 8th with a Mastros triple and RBI double by Stulga for a 7-2 lead
- Missouri State scored the game's final run with a solo home run in the 9th
