MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Redbird pitcher Tanner Perry has signed a non-drafted free agent deal with the Milwaukee Brewers after the conclusion of the 2025 MLB Draft.
Perry spent two years with the Redbirds following stops at Jefferson College and Southern Illinois. A native of Dardenne Prairie, Mo., Perry took strides in his second year with the Redbirds.
In 2025, Perry was one of three MVC pitchers to toss two complete games, including a nine-inning shutout against UIC that earned him MVC Pitcher of the Week. Across the campaign, Perry totaled 71.1 innings and struck out a team-best 76 opposing batters.
Perry becomes the fourth Redbird to be drafted or sign a deal with the Brewers and the first since Chris Razo to join the Brew Crew. Perry becomes the fourth non-drafted free agent to sign with an MLB organization under head coach Steve Holm.
