HOLLISTER, Mo. – After playing in a strong tournament last weekend, which earned sophomore Elise Fennell the MVC Golfer of the Week honor, the Redbirds go back in action on Monday, March 23 with the three-day Ozarks National Invitational, hosted by Missouri State University.

Playing amongst a strong field with nine schools ranked inside of the top-100, the Illinois State women's golf team placed 16th at the Valspar Augusta Invitational. The Birds were led by MVC Golfer of the Week Elise Fennell who finished with a three-round score of 221, placing in a tie of 26th while Alex Sparrow had a 232, and Ragan Kennedy a 233.
