NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State gymnastics head coach Cassandra Ringer announced the signing of five gymnasts to her program, with the addition of Sklyar Sensi (Columbus, N.J.) to the roster beginning in the 2026-27 season.

•   2026 Vault second place finisher at New Jersey State Meet; also took third in the all-around at the state competition
•   Three-time Level 10 Regional Qualifier; career-high vault score of 9.825
•   As a junior in 2025, helped team to a third-place finish at the New Jersey State Meet
•   Member of the National Honor Society, AP Scholar and four-year honor roll member
"We are thrilled to welcome Skylar to Illinois State," Ringer said. "She is a persistent competitor with a dynamic personality that will make an immediate impact on Redbird gymnastics. Fans will love to watch her power and technique on vault and floor exercise, as she will bring some of the most difficult skills in the NCAA with her to Normal.
