NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State gymnastics head coach Cassandra Ringer has added a Division I transfer to her program with the addition of former Nebraska gymnast Emalee Frost (Arrington, Tennessee) to the roster for the 2026-27 season.

•   Spent the last four seasons at Nebraska, helping the team reach the NCAA Championships twice.
•   Scored a career-high 9.775 on bars against Illinois in 2025.
•   Prior to Nebraska, was a level 10 gymnast at Let it Shine Gymnastics in Franklin, Tennessee
•   Claimed the bars title at the 2021 Region 8 Championships, State Championships, Warrior Classic, USA Invitational and the Knoxville Classic and won the title on beam and floor at the 2021 State Championships.Â
