FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Illinois State track and field wrapped up day three of competition at the NCAA West First Rounds on Friday at John McDonnell Field.
Garrett Taylor finished 29th overall in the men's discus with a throw of 53.37m.Â
Voldy Makabu tied for 39th in the men's high jump field with a leap of 2.07m.
The men's 4x400-meter relay group, featuring Enyinnaya Nwagwu Jr., Zach Paul,  Jake Welch and Reece Curtis placed 22nd with a time of 3:10.80.Â

Pauline Schedler (1500m), Macee Rivers (100m hurdles) and Mattison Plummer (3000m steeplechase) will compete in the quarterfinals of their respective events tomorrow in hopes of punching their ticket to the NCAA Championships on June 10-13 in Eugene, Ore. Competition will be streamed on ESPN+.
