NORMAL, Ill. – Coming off a big road win over FBS in-state foe Northern Illinois last Saturday in DeKalb, the No. 4 ranked Illinois State football team improved to 3-0 on the year and will now turn their attention to longtime in-state rival Eastern Illinois and the 114th Mid-America Classic this Saturday at Hancock Stadium. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming matchup with the Panthers at Schooners on Thursday at 6 p.m. at The Brock Spack Show, presented by Robert Redding Menswear.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about what he saw from his team in the come-from-behind road win at NIU, and he will preview the upcoming matchup with EIU. This week, they will be joined by tight end Alex Herrera and tight ends coach CJ Irvin as special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network.
