Cam Holmes

Cam Holmes joined the Illinois State women’s basketball staff in 2022-23 as a graduate manager, and will be entering his second season with the program in 2023-24. A native of Gorham, Maine, Holmes came from Indiana University where he served as practice player and manager for the Hoosiers women's basketball program under head coach Teri Moren during his undergraduate years.

While with the Hoosiers, the program went 90-36, remained nationally ranked for the entirety of his time, and reached the NCAA tournament in every year that it occurred. Holmes played a key part in the development of several professional players, including Nicole Cardaño-Hillary, Aleksa Gulbe, and WNBA Indiana Fever first-round draft pick Grace Berger. His sister, Mackenzie, was named a 2022-23 AP First-Team All-American, as well as a finalist for the Wendy’s John R. Wooden Award last season.

Cam assists the program with basketball operations and individual player development. He is a member of the Sport Management graduate program at Illinois State and is set to graduate in May of 2024.
