Biography

2006-07: Appeared in 25 games, and started three of the first four contests of the season...scored a career-high 11 points in the opener at Northern Illinois (11/11/06) ... scored six or more points in five individual contests ... chipped in 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting, and recorded a career-best three steals against Chicago State (11/26/06) ... played three first-half minutes against sixth-seeded Creighton in the State Farm MVC Semifinals ... came off the bench to play an important 19 minutes in the triple-overtime, first-round WNIT win over Rice.

2005-06: Rejoined team for the first time in a year during the first week of January ... committed just one turnover in 88 minutes during 13 games, including a string of 75 straight minutes played without a turnover which continues at the start of 2006-07 ... collected four rebounds in just 11 minutes at Bradley (1/15).

2004-05: Played in seven games before being suspended from the team in late December.

2003-04: Suffered injury to left knee after four games ... had surgery in January, 2004 and missed the remainder of the season ... qualified to repeat sophomore year with NCAA injury hardship waiver.

2002-03: Her turnover-to-minute ratio (one for every 29.9 minutes played) not only led the Missouri Valley for players with 300 or more minutes played, but also is the No. 1 ratio in Illinois State history ... she had just 14 turnovers in 418 minutes ... became a starter because of ball handling and defensive efforts from game 13 ... made just seven of first 21 field goals (.333), then 14 of 32 (.438) the rest of the season ... had 6 points, 6 rebounds. vs. Wichita State (1/18) ... her steal and layup in overtime helped the `Birds take the lead for good at Evansville (1/25) ... only basket of the game put the `Birds ahead for good in win over SMS (1/16).

High School: 2002 Illinois Miss Basketball finalist ... 2001 & 2002 Chicago Tribune All-State team ... 2001 & 2002 Illinois Basketball Coaches All-Star Team ... led team to IHSA Class AA Semifinals at Redbird Arena in 2002 ... her teams were 90-33 in four prep seasons, including 27-6 in 2002 ... averaged 11.5 points as a freshman, 20.7 as a sophomore, 23.5 as a junior and 25.1 as a senior ... her 274 career 3-point field goals are No. 4 in Illinois prep history ... her 636 steals were No. 1 in Illinois prep history ... one of only 20 players in Illinois high school history to score 2,500 career points (2,504) ... honorable mention all-state tennis player in doubles as a sophomore and senior ... all-state track athlete as a freshman and sophomore in 800 meters, also participated in mile relay and high jump ... prep coach was Curt Dobbs.
