player since 2003 to earn CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-America accolades...named to the
Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team...State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award
recipient...appeared in all 18 games and made eight starts...contributed to an Illinois
State defense that limited opponents to a 1.18 goals against average and recorded four
shutouts.
2009: Missouri Valley Conference Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete
First-Team selection...CoSIDA ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District V Second-Team
selection...appeared in 15 games, recording one assist...helped the Redbirds remain
undefeated at home with an assist to Jessica Carlson for the game-winning goal against
Northern Illinois (Sept. 6) ...contributed to a Redbird defense that posted a 1.23 goals
against average and eight shutouts including the MVC Tournament Championship game, leading
the Redbirds to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in six years ...the eight shutouts
ties for third place for most shutouts in program history.
2008:Appeared in 19 games with six stars, all consecutive ... recorded
an assist against Morehead State (9/24).
2007: All-Valley Freshman Team selection ... appeared in 17 games with
eight starts, the most by any ISU freshman ... recorded four points on a goal and two
assists ... tied for fourth on the team in assists ... scored her first-career goal against
Indiana State (10/5) ... recorded assists against Creighton (10/14) and Drake in the State
Farm MVC Tournament semifinal game (11/9).
Prior to ISU: Played her club soccer with the Eclipse `88-'89, along
with fellow teammate Nicole Russell ... won the Illinois State Cup five-consecutive years
(2002-06) ... also captured regional crowns in 2003 and 2006 ... as a member of Eclipse
Select in `06, won the US Youth Soccer National Championship ... Redbird teammates Brenna
Bohl, Alex Howell, Katrina Jakobsze, Nicole Russell and Ammanda Wisniewski also played club
soccer with Eclipse ... played soccer at Vernon Hills High School in 2004 and 2005 ... a
two-time North Suburban League All-Conference and Daily Herald All-Area team selection ...
