MVC All-Tournament Team ... led Illinois State with nine goals scored on the season ... totaled 20 points overall, first on the team ... got the assist in the game-winning gla in the team's win over MVC co-champion Evansville ... member of the Anderson Financial Network Athletics Honor Roll in Spring 1999.

1997 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact for Redbird squad, earning starting defending duties in all 19 games ... major contributor to scoring efforts with three assists ... is tied for team-high in that category ... had two assists against MVC foe Valpo on Oct. 24 for a 2-0 Illinois State win.

Libertyville H.S.: Three-year starter for Libertyville ... three-time all-stater ... made all-sectional and all-conference her sophomore and junior years respectively ... helped team to a third place finish at state while earning all-tourney team for herself ... during junior campaign, Freed earned Chicago Tribune First Team, Chicago Sun Times Second Team, and was a member of the Olympic Development team ... named Rookie of the Year her freshman season.
