Don't Miss The Brock Spack Show Tonight at Schooners

NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State football team will begins a two-game road stretch Saturday with a matchup against No. 19 Northern Iowa at the UNI Dome. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming game against the Panthers Thursday night on the Brock Spack Show live from Schooners in Bloomington.

Co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz will interact with coach Spack during the hour-long show beginning at 6 p.m. Coach Spack will be joined on the broadcast by junior linebacker Cliffton Gordon as this week's player guest.

Gordon played in all 11 games at running back in 2009, with three starting assignments, and led the team with 150 carries for 542 yards and seven touchdowns. However, with the emergence of transfer running backs Ashton Leggett and Erik Smith at running back, Gordon's snaps were limited in 2010 and coach Spack sought to use his speed more effectively. So, prior to last week's game against No. 14 North Dakota State, Gordon was moved to outside linebacker and started against the Bison and finished the game with four tackles.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner Grove and Clinton Streets. If you can't make it out to Schooners, the show will be broadcast on WJBC AM-1230 and 93.7 FM in the Twin Cities and on GoRedbirds.com.
