NORMAL, Ill. - A pair of ranked teams will face off at Hancock Stadium Saturday, as the No. 19 Illinois State Redbirds take on the No. 23 ranked Southern Illinois Salukis. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming game against the in-state rival and defending Valley champions and will offer insights from last weekend's game against Missouri Thursday night on The Brock Spack Show live from Schooners in Bloomington.
Co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz will interact with coach Spack during the hour-long show beginning at 6 p.m. Coach Spack will be joined on the broadcast by junior middle linebacker Josh Howe as this week's player guest.
Howe leads the Redbirds with 41 tackles on the season and ranks second in the Missouri Valley Football Conference in tackles per game. The Chicago Heights, Ill., native has also recorded 1.5 tackles for loss and an interception through four games and had his best game of the year against FBS foe Northwestern, where he recorded a career-high 14 tackles.
