NORMAL, Ill. - Senior Erik Brunskog, junior Jacob Wilson and sophomores Rolando Torrellas and Jakub Eisner took home Missouri Valley Conference awards announced Thursday night preceding the Valley Team Tennis Championship hosted by Illinois State this weekend.
Brunskog was named to the all-select team, voted on by MVC coaches. He finished the regular season with a 2-1 mark in the MVC and a 3-7 overall record.
Wilson, Torrellas and Eisner were honored for their work in the classroom and selected to the scholar-athlete team. Wilson posted a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA) while boasting a 21-18 record. Torrellas posted a 3.75 GPA while tallying a 17-14 record, and Eisner posted a 3.62 GPA and accumulated an 8-22 record.
