TULSA, Okla. – Top-seeded Denver advanced to the championship match with a 4-1 victory over No. 4 Illinois State in the semifinal round of the 2026 Summit League Men's Tennis Championship on Friday at Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Denver took the early lead by winning the doubles point, with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. As the action moved to singles, the Pioneers picked up wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots to take a 3-0 lead over the Redbirds, but Tin Ostro would put ISU on the board with a 6-0, 7-6 victory over Ryoma Mishiro at the No. 4 spot. Denver would then clinch the match at 4-1 after a win at the No. 6 spot to advance to the championship match tomorrow.
