NORMAL, Ill. – Before heading out to celebrate Halloween, kids will have the opportunity to participate in a fun day of activities on Oct. 31 at Hancock Stadium prior to Illinois State's football game against Indiana State.

Illinois State Athletics will host a pair of events prior to the game, which is set to kick off at noon. Kids have the opportunity to participate in a cheer clinic with instruction from the ISU cheerleaders and in the Fright Run prior to the game.
The $20 registration for the Cheer Clinic includes instruction by the ISU Cheerleaders, a game ticket, a pizza lunch and pompoms to use at a special halftime performance. The Cheer Clinic is open to boys and girls ages 4-12, and advanced registration is due by Friday, Oct. 30.
Participants are encouraged to wear or bring a Halloween costume to the clinic and their own water bottle. Check in and registration will begin at 9 a.m., with the clinic set to begin on the practice field at Hancock Stadium at 9:30 a.m.
In the Halloween spirit, all Cheer Clinic participants will also be eligible to participate in the Fright Run at Hancock Stadium. Children ages 12 and under, who do not participate in the Cheer, can purchase a regularly-priced $15 ticket for the Fright Run.
Fright Run participants will have the opportunity to run across the field with the Redbird football team just prior to the start of the game during the team entrance. The Fright Run is open to boys and girls ages 4-12 and advanced registration is not needed. Costumes are encouraged, and runners will meet in the North end zone by the large video scoreboard by 11:40 a.m., and can be picked up in the Southeast corner of the field after the Fright Run is over.
