Come Out To The Brock Spack Show At Schooners

NORMAL, Ill. – No. 6 ranked Illinois State looks to bounce back after its first conference loss last weekend, when it travels to face in-state rival Southern Illinois this Saturday in Carbondale.  ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the game against the Salukis at The Brock Spack Show on Thursday, Nov. 12, which airs live from Schooners on WJBC 1230-AM from 6-7 p.m.

The final regular-season Brock Spack Show will air on Wednesday, Nov. 18, to allow for a Thursday broadcast of Redbird men's basketball on Nov. 19.

The Redbirds (7-2, 5-1 MVFC) suffered their first FCS defeat last weekend to No. 11 South Dakota State.  A late comeback attempt was not successful, and ISU dropped back into a tie for first place in the Missouri Valley Football Conference standings with North Dakota State. The Salukis (3-6, 2-4 MVFC) are coming off a loss themselves to a team from South Dakota, as the Coyotes of South Dakota defeated SIU late in the game last week.

Coach Spack will talk with co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz, and will be joined by senior running back Marshaun Coprich.  The All-American is having another stellar season in the backfield for the Redbirds and leads the conference in rushing yards, touchdowns and yards per game.  He also ranks in the top three in all of FCS football in those categories and has rushed for over 1,000 yards for the second straight season.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove and Clinton Streets. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com.
