NORMAL, Ill. – This Illinois State women's tennis team is on the road this weekend to compete against Missouri Valley Conference foe No. 32 Wichita State Saturday, April 11 at the Sheldon Coleman Complex, followed by another MVC road contest Sunday, April 12 at Missouri State, at the Cooper Tennis Complex. Both matches will begin at 10 a.m.
The Redbirds are 2-13 and 0-2 in the Missouri Valley Conference after suffering MVC setbacks to Drake and Northern Iowa last weekend. Wichita State holds a 16-3 overall record and is 3-0 in the MVC, earning wins over conference opponents Missouri State, Evansville and Southern Illinois. Missouri State is 3-13 and 0-3 in the MVC after suffering defeats by Wichita State, Southern Illinois and Evansville.
