NORMAL, Ill. – Returning Illinois State students can now purchase or renew their Red Alert pass for the 2016-17 school year, and become part of the best student section in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Students who purchase a new pass or renew their current pass by Friday, May 6, will be entered into a drawing to win one of several great prizes, including: Â
•   Two tickets to the Beyonce World Tour concert at Soldier Field in Chicago
•   Two 4-day general admission passes to Country Thunder Music Festival in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin
•   Two or four tickets to a Cubs gameÂ
•   Starplex Cinemas free movie passes
•   Other gift cards from local athletics business partners
Red Alert is the official student section at Illinois State Athletics events and is one of the best social activities on campus. The Red Alert pass includes admission to all regular-season home football and men's basketball games for the school year. The pass is loaded directly onto a student's University Redbird ID card, which acts as a ticket to all games.Â
Members also receive the official student section T-shirt and admission into Hancock Stadium and Redbird Arena 15 minutes prior to other students and the general public. All other sports feature free admission for students.
The Red Alert pass costs $50 and can be charged to a student's 2016-17 fall semester tuition bill. Students can also purchase online and pay with a credit or debit card, or they can visit the Redbird Arena Ticket Office during normal business hours to register and pay with cash, credit/debit card or check.
