NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's basketball team will host the St. Louis Billikens on Thursday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. for a Education Day promotion.
Elementary schools are encouraged to attend and admission will be free for all teachers, chaperones and students in grades K-5, with registration. Advanced registration is required and the deadline to do so is Saturday, Dec. 1. Participants may sign up by emailing assistant director of marketing, Jordan Ashley, at joashle@ilstu.edu.
Students in attendance will receive a free STEM workbook and pencil. Attendees may bring their own lunch, but two lunch options will be available for $4. The options include a slice of pizza with grapes and a drink, or a hot dog with chips and a drink.
The nationally known master of Simon Sez Steve Max will be performing at halftime. Max has appeared on TV and at multiple NBA and NCAA basketball games.
