REDBIRD BITS

• The Redbirds enter the game with a 2-4 record, after capturing their second-straight home win against Oakland on Thursday, Nov. 29.

• Illinois State held Oakland to five points in the first quarter, which is the second-lowest the team has scored in a period this season.

• TeTe Maggett led all scorers and added her second-straight game with 20 or more points in Thursday's contest. The junior guard now averages 12.7 points per game and leads the team in assists with 2.8 per contest.

• Simone Goods is ranked third in the Valley in scoring (17.0), rebounding (8.9) and field goal percentage (52.5). Goods tied her career high of 14 rebounds in Thursday night's victory and added her sixth career double-double with 11 points.

• The Governors are in the top 10 in the nation for three-point field goals made, with 78 this season.

• Arielle Gonzalez-Varner received Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week honors, after setting a career high in points and rebounds with 32 and 23, respectively against Mississippi Valley. The 23 rebounds were a new program record and she became the first player to record at least 30 points and 20 rebounds in a game.

• Austin Peay was picked to finish seventh in the OVC Media Poll and ninth in the OVC Coaches and SID's Poll.

SWEATERS FOR SEATS

In order to be eligible for the courtside seat giveaway, students must arrive in their favorite holiday attire and check in at the marketing table at the south entrance. The five most spirited participants will be announced at halftime and must compete in a basketball-themed competition to win.

Additionally, the first 30 students that check in will be guaranteed a limited edition Dan Muller bobblehead. This is the first opportunity the bobblehead will be available. As always, students with their Illinois State ID will receive free admission.

CLEAR BAG POLICY

Per the new clear bag policy, each ticketed guest can carry one large clear bag- either a one-gallon Ziploc-style bag or the 12"x 6"x 12" clear bag- plus a small clutch purse (4.5" x 6.5") into the venue. The small clutch must be carried into the venue outside the clear bag and is subject to search.
