NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State men's tennis team will host DePaul, UIC, and Creighton Feb. 23 through Feb. 25 at the Bloomington Tennis Center.
After winning six straight, the 6-2 Redbirds will take on the DePaul Blue Demons on Friday at 6 p.m. The DePaul maintains an 8-3 season record after defeating six of their last eight opponents.
On Saturday, Illinois State will matchup with UIC at 3 p.m. The Flames came up short in their last showing after falling, 6-1, to Davidson bringing their record to 0-3.
Closing out the weekend, the Redbirds will host Creighton Sunday at 10 a.m., who own a 2-5 season record after falling to Iowa, 7-0.
The Redbirds went 2-0 last weekend, defeating UAB and George Washington in Des Moines Iowa. The squad defeated UAB, 5-2, and George Washington, 6-1.
The Birds will be back on the road next weekend to face Denver, March 4 in Denver, Colorado at 1 p.m.
