"Steady rains, which at times were torrential, made scoring more challenging and certainly impacted the field today," said head coach Ray Kralis. "Overall, we can take a number of positives from this week and the tournament at South Alabama, and I believe we have accomplished our goals for this stretch of the season. Most, if not all, of the teams we've competed against are from warmer climates practicing outdoors, so I feel like we have held our own. We'll be able to practice more consistently on grass going forward, and I am confident we'll tighten a few things up and be firing on all cylinders soon."
