Illinois State soccer head coach Brad Silvey announced the dates and opened registration for the 2019 Redbird Soccer clinics on Monday.
Interested campers can find all the information needed, including registration information at camps.jumpforward.com/redbirdsoccercamps. Mail-in registration is available as well for those who want to avoid paying the online registration fee. The mail-in registration form includes instructions on how to register and can be found and printed at the bottom of each camp's page on the website.
Winter Skills Academy I & II / Saturday, Feb. 23 / Pre-K – 8th Grade / $20
The Skills Academy will serve as an opportunity for youth soccer players to learn and improve their fundamental soccer skills and ball mastery. Skills Academy is designed for boys and girls of all skill levels, from Pre-K to 4th grade (10 a.m.-12 p.m.) and 5th grade to 8th grade (2-4 p.m.). Players will be divided into groups and receive age-appropriate individual instructions from Illinois State soccer staff and current student-athletes. Activities and exercises will cover topics such as: passing, receiving, first touch, 1v1 attacking and defending, juggling, dribbling, cutting, turning, moves, feints and other ball mastery skills. Small-sided games will be used in moderation as the emphasis is on individual skill. The cost to attend is $20 with an optional additional $10 t-shirt fee for those interested (t-shirt NOT included in $20 cost).
Spring ID Clinic / Sunday, April 14 / 6th – 12th Grade / $125
The Identification Clinic is built specifically for the female player and prospective student-athlete that is considering the idea of playing soccer at the collegiate level. Participants will be exposed to a challenging training environment, similar to that of Division I women's soccer programs. This clinic will challenge your skills, knowledge and physicality within the game of soccer. Campers will be taken through multiple training sessions, participate in small-sided games and 11v11 games. They will receive quality instruction from the Illinois State coaching staff and other college coaches. They will also have the opportunity to tour the campus and interact with members from our current Illinois State women's soccer team. Goalkeeper specific training is provided. The clinic is open to girls in grades 6-12 and the cost to attend is $125 (t-shirt included).
Summer ID Clinic / Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 / 8th – 12th Grade / $175

The clinic is open to girls in grades 8-12 and the cost to attend is $175 (t-shirt included). The Summer ID Clinic is a two-day camp but is not overnight (lodging NOT provided).
Elite ID Clinic / Saturday, July 20 – Sunday, July 21 / 8th – 12th Grade / $275 or $225
The Elite Identification Clinic is built specifically for the female player and prospective student-athlete that is heavily committed to playing soccer at the collegiate level. This is an overnight camp with both a resident and commuter option. Participants will be exposed to a challenging training environment, similar to that of a Division I women's soccer program. This clinic will challenge your skills, knowledge and physicality within the game of soccer. Campers will be taken through multiple training sessinos, participate in small-sided games and 11v11 games. Goalkeeper specific training will be provided as well. Campers will receive quality instruction from the Illinois State coaching staff and other college coaches. Each camper will receive an invidualized evaluation from one of our staff members at the completion of the clinic providing feedback on areas to develop in preparation for the college game. They will also have the opportunity to tour the campus and interact with members from our current Illinois State women's soccer team. The overnight clinic is open to girls entering grades 8-12 and the cost to attend is $275 for resident, $225 for commuter (t-shirt included).

The cost to attend is $40 with an optional additional $10 t-shirt fee for those interested (t-shirt NOT included in $40 cost). Extra t-shirts will NOT be sold at camp.
Gameday ID Clinics / Saturday, Aug. 10 & Sunday, Sept. 8 / 8th - 12th Grade / $75
The Game Day Clinic is built specifically for the female prospective student-athlete that is considering the idea of playing soccer at the collegiate level. Participants will be exposed to a challenging training environment, similar to that of a Division I women's soccer program. This clinic will challenge your skills, knowledge and physicality within the game of soccer. Campers will be taken through a normal Redbird training session and then participate in small-sided games and 11v11 games. They will receive quality instruction from the Illinois State coaching staff. They will also have the opportunity to tour the campus and interact with members from our current Illinois State women's soccer team. Following the clinic, campers are encouraged to stay for the match and see the principles discussed in the clinic applied in a collegiate game.Â
