NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's basketball team will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Sunday to take on Marquette in their first road contest of the season. Tip-off at the Al McGuire Center is slated for 2 p.m.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
Marquette is coming off a 92-71 win at home against St. Francis Brooklyn on Thursday evening, that saw four Golden Eagles score in double-digits. Junior Selena Lotts racked up 24 points for the second consecutive game and sophomore Chloe Marotta posted career highs in points (20) and rebounds (12), also in her first career double-double. Freshman Camryn Taylor and redshirt junior Lauren Van Kleunen scored 15 and 12 points, respectively.
Head coach Megan Duffy is 2-0 in her first season with the Golden Eagles, after leading Miami (Ohio) to a pair of Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) appearances during her two-year tenure with the program.
ILLINOIS STATE VS. MARQUETTE
The Redbirds lead the all-time series with the Golden Eagles, 2-1. They last met in the third round of the WNIT at Redbird Arena in 2009. ISU's Kristi Cirone hit a pair of free throws with nine seconds remaining in regulation to put the 'Birds up 51-50, and advance Illinois State to the quarterfinals. Cirone led the Redbirds with 23 points and Kenyatta Shelton also added 12 rebounds.
LAST TIME OUT
Senior guard TeTe Maggett scored 21 points in 28 minutes on the court to guide Illinois State to its first win of the year, defeating Truman State, 87-60, in the season opener at Redbird Arena on Tuesday night. Three Redbirds scored in double-digits, as Lexi Wallen added 13 points and Juliunn Redmond went 5-of-7 in her ISU debut to total 12 points, also grabbing five boards.
