MOBILE, Ala. - Due to copious amounts of rain overnight and into the morning, the third and final round of the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate hosted by the University of South Alabama has been canceled.
Illinois State closed the second day - which are now the final tournament results - in seventh place after a second-round 283 (-5). With back-to-back 71's, David Perkins tied for 17th in the field with a two-under 142, while Joel Durnford completed his two rounds at one stroke under par, tying for 24th overall.
The Redbirds return to action on Saturday, Feb. 23 when the team travels to Tallahassee, Fla. to compete in the Seminole Intercollegiate.
