Shreveport, LA. –The Illinois State gymnastics team wrapped up its regular season by finishing in second place against its foes from the Midwest Independent Conference Friday night, as Centenary hosted the 2019 MIC Championships at the Gold Dome.

"Tonight, the scoring was very tight, but I thought we did really well on bars with no major mistakes. Our best performance was definitely on floor, being able to tie with UIC was huge. We finished well on vault, and overall I was happy with how the meet went."
