The Illinois State soccer team is set to host two goalkeeping clinics at the Illinois State Track Field this summer. The two sessions of the clinic will be held on July 13 and cost $75 each. The clinics will be under the direction of head coach Brad Silvey and his staff.

"We have all of the pieces in place to be able to provide a first-class camp experience: an incredible facility, a fantastic coaching staff, and members of our current team," said Silvey. "We are aiming to replicate the student-athlete experience for campers by taking them through a normal ISU goalkeeping training session, and then later showcasing how our team applies training instruction to in-game situations. Through this unique goalkeeping clinic, campers will be able to experience a vital part to any team's success."
The Goalkeeping Clinic is designed for the female player and prospective student-athlete that aspires to take their goalkeeping to the collegiate level. This is a 4-hour clinic that will include technical, tactical, physical and mental components. Participants will be exposed to a challenging training environment, similar to that of a Division I women's soccer program. Attendees will receive quality instruction from the Illinois State coaching staff and interact with current student-athletes. This clinic will also include a campus tour and a T-shirt will be provided.
The clinic is open to girls entering 8th-12th grades. Check in will begin at 8:30 a.m. for Clinic I and 2:30 p.m. for Clinic II. Registration ends July 12th at 11:59pm. Participants are welcome to pay for and attend both sessions on July 13, but please note that the same topics and activities will be covered in both sessions.
