8:30 a.m. - We got up to eat breakfast at the hotel, then got on the bus for a 4-hour bus ride to Florence.
12:30 p.m. - We stopped 15 minutes outside of Florence to get a bite to eat. Everyone got a variety of options at a restaurant overlooking the highway. It was very good and a nice break from the long bus ride.
2:30 p.m. - After we got to Florence, we checked into our hotel and left to go on our tour at the Accademia. We saw the Statue of David and many marble sculptures and paintings. The details on the Statue of David were incredible and you could tell how much time Michelangelo put into it.
3:30 p.m. - We walked around Florence after our tour and got some yummy gelato. Our tour guide Mario said it was one of the best places in Florence. We then went back to our hotel to get ready for dinner.
7:30 p.m. - We went to the rooftop of our hotel, soaked in the incredible view and took so many pictures. We walked to our restaurant shortly after and were treated to an amazing dinner. We had some good pasta, potatoes, steak, and of course more gelato.
9:30 p.m. - We roamed the streets of Florence and took photos by the river to cap off the day.
