Football Cheer Clinic And Halftime Fireworks Set For September 21

NORMAL, Ill. – Before heading out to the Illinois State football game against Northern Arizona on Sept. 21, kids will have the opportunity to participate in the annual football cheer clinic with instruction from the ISU cheerleaders.

Illinois State Athletics and Reggie's Kids Club will host the cheer clinic. The $20 registration fee for the clinic includes a game ticket, a Papa John's Pizza dinner and pom-poms to use at a special in-game performance.  The cheer clinic is open to boys and girls ages 4-12, and advanced registration is due by Friday, Sept. 14. Additional game tickets for family and friends may be purchased for $15 in general admission West side seating. 

Participants are encouraged to wear red or Illinois State gear to the clinic and bring their own water bottle. Check in and registration will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the clinic set to run from 5-6 p.m. at Horton Field House North Gym. Fans in attendance will also be treated to a halftime fireworks display presented by BOPI.
