BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois State Basketball Coaches Shows, featuring Illinois State head men's basketball coach Dan Muller and women's assistant coach Jessica Keller will air tonight live from Hy-Vee Market Grille in Bloomington. Fans unable to attend the show can listen live on WJBC 1230-AM or on GoRedbirds.com, as Muller and Keller recap the past week of Missouri Valley Conference play and preview upcoming match-ups.
The Kristen Gillespie Show, hosted by Greg Halbleib, starts tonight at 6 p.m. Halbleib will be joined by assistant coach Jessica Keller and senior forward Megan Talbot. Keller will be filling in for head coach Kristen Gillespie while she is on the recruiting trail. The women's basketball team (13-8, 5-5 MVC) hosts Loyola Chicago on Friday night at Redbird Arena and then Valparaiso on Sunday afternoon for the annual Play4Kay game. Admission on Sunday is $1. The Dan Muller Show follows at 7 p.m., hosted by Dick Luedke and Mike Matthews. Muller will be joined by redshirt junior guard Lijah Donnelly. The men's basketball team (8-16, 3-9 MVC) will take on the UNI Panthers on the road on Wednesday evening before hosting Valparaiso at Redbird Arena on Saturday night at 6 p.m. Saturday's game will coincide with the Retro Night promotion, as the team dons their new retro uniforms and several former Redbird standouts will be in attendance for a halftime on-court recognition and autograph sessions on the concourse.
