NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State women's basketball has a jam-packed weekend ahead, as the Redbirds host two Missouri Valley Conference opponents at Redbird Arena.
Ballin' in Love – Friday, Feb. 14 vs. Loyola Chicago
Celebrate Valentine's Day with the Redbird women's basketball team! Friday's game features a $15 loge box ticket special that includes a rose delivery from Reggie Redbird.
Play4Kay – Sunday, Feb. 16 vs. Valparaiso
Illinois State will hold its 10th annual Play4Kay game on Sunday, fundraising for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and the fight against ALL cancers affecting women. There will be a $1 admission for fans attending.
Registration remains open for cancer survivors and those currently battling cancer to attend the pregame reception, hosted by the Mennonite College of Nursing and the Student Nursing Association at Illinois State University. Survivors can register for up to four FREE tickets to the game by completing the registration form. There will also be an on-court halftime recognition for all cancer survivors and those currently battling. Any survivor of any type of cancer is invited to participate.
Illinois State and the Community Cancer Center announced earlier this year the launch of a fundraising campaign benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund that will result in a $150,000 grant in support of a program that will serve the underserved in the Bloomington/Normal community.
