Normal, Ill.-- The Illinois State women's soccer team will make the trip to Earth City, Mo. to take on the Saint Louis Billikens on Saturday. The game had a venue change from SLU's home field, Herman Stadium, to the Lou Fusz Athletic Training Center due to weather. The game is now set to kick off at 8 p.m.
This will be the 'Birds first match up with the Billikens since 2017, that game resulted in a 1-0 road loss for Illinois State. The overall series between the teams is at a dead-even 2-2-1.
The Redbirds look to keep their momentum coming off a 2-1 exhibition win against UIS on February 11. Freshman Haley Glover scored her first goal in a Redbird uniform in the game, and looks to contribute more in regular season play.

Saint Louis - What You Need to know
SLU went an impressive 17-4-2 last season and 9-0-1 in conference, winning the Atlantic 10 and making the NCAA tournament. Currently the Billikens sit at 2-0 with wins over UMKC and Xavier.
Saint Louis was selected as a heavy favorite to win the A10 Conference in this season's preseason polls, receiving 12 of the 13 first place votes.
The Billikens return leading scorer, junior Hannah Friedrich, who had 11 goals and six assists last season. She started all 23 games last season, and was a member of the all-conference first team. Currently, she has one goal and one assist through two games.
