NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Basketball Coaches Shows presented by Bud Light, featuring Illinois State men's basketball head coach Dan Muller will air tonight. Fans can listen on WJBC 1230-AM or on GoRedbirds.com, as Muller will recap last week's games and preview upcoming match-ups in the 2021 MVC Tournament.
The Dan Muller Show starts at 7 p.m., hosted by Dick Leudke. Muller will be joined by senior manager Daniel Novotny along with recently-honored student-athletes Matt Chastain and Taylor Bruninga. Novotny has been a four-year manager for Illinois State, while Chastain and Bruninga retired from basketball after last season due to injury.
The team (7-17, 4-14 MVC) fell in a pair of games to Northern Iowa over the weekend, and will face off against the Panthers again in the opening round of the MVC Tournament, which will be played on Thursday evening at 8 p.m.
