Participants (GolfStat Ranking): Illinois State (114), Southern Illinois (169), Valparaiso (178), Missouri State (204), Loyola (220), Drake (225), Evansville (236), UNI (251), and Bradley (259). Illinois State will play the first two rounds of the Championship along with Southern Illinois and Valparaiso.

Last Time Out: Three strong rounds put the Illinois State Redbirds in the upper half of a strong and Big Ten-laden tournament on Saturday and Sunday, as the 'Birds took sixth place overall at the 2021 Boilermaker Invitational, as David Perkins had two of his three rounds under par, finishing in the top-10 individually. Behind his strong finish Perkins was named the MVC Golfer of the Week for the fourth time this season and 15th time in his career - a new MVC record for career Golfer of the Week honors.
