ST. LOUIS, Mo. – ESPN has notified the Missouri Valley Conference that Friday's ESPNU baseball telecast will now feature the Illinois State baseball team against No. 23 Indiana State at Duffy Bass Field in Normal, Ill.  The ESPNU production will be shown at 12:00 p.m. (CT).  Roxy Bernstein (play-by-play) and Xavier Scruggs (analyst) will call the action.

Illinois State's Sunday match-up with Indiana State, which will be shown on ESPN+, has been moved up to 12:00 p.m. CT. The Redbird soccer team will be hosting an MVC Tournament quarterfinal match-up and due to the proximity of the fields, both teams can not play at the same time.

The Missouri Valley Conference postponed the DBU-Missouri State baseball four-game series (Friday-Sunday, April 9-11) at Hammons Field in Springfield, Mo., due to positive COVID-19 test results within DBU's Tier I personnel, which consists of student-athletes, coaches, managers and staff.  Friday's game between the Patriots and Bears was originally slated to air on ESPNU as one of The Valley's selected games on the network.

The Redbirds are also scheduled to play on ESPNU on Friday, May 14 against Missouri State.
