NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's soccer team is looking to snap a six-match skid as it is set to travel to Northern Illinois on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The match will be streamed on GoRedbirds.com.

SERIES HISTORY
Illinois State leads the all-time series, 12-3-2. The Redbirds have a 14-match unbeaten streak against the Huskies, not having lost since 9/1/1998 (lost three-straight to open series). ISU has conceded just two goals in the last 13 matches against NIU. NIU finished 1-9 in the spring 2021 campaign and is 3-3 to start the fall season, coming off a 3-1 loss at Green Bay.
LAST TIME OUT (VS NORTHWESTERN)
Junior Katherine Felton scored in the 52nd-minute (assisted by sophomore Caitlin Shilling and junior Allison Baker), but NW scored in the 78th minute to tie the match before scoring a 99th-minute golden goal. Redshirt junior Priya Gillan made six saves. ISU was outshot, 19-7.
THREE WITH TWO-PLUS
Senior Riley O'Brien is tied for third in the MVC in goals scored with three while fifth-year seniors Sarah LaFayette and Natalie Vaughn-Low are both tied for fifth with two goals scored apiece. Illinois State and Evansville are the only teams in the MVC that has three players with two or more goals scored.
After Northern Illinois, ISU is scheduled to travel to Valparaiso for Friday's 7:30 p.m. match.
