NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State Swimming & Diving will honor its four seniors this weekend, January 14-15, when they host Missouri Valley Conference foe UNI for their final home meet of the season at Horton Pool. Friday's action will begin at 3:45 p.m., while Saturday's action will begin at 9:45 a.m. A full schedule of events can be found below.
Admission is free to the public with doors opening at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Masks are required at the Horton Pool.
The Redbirds will recognize seniors Julie Kolar, Sarah Hein, Julia Oostman and Haley Rivera on Saturday morning at approximately 10:15 a.m. between diving and swimming.

LAST TIME OUT
Redbird freshman diver Eva Reyes broke an Illinois State school record in the platform dive (5) with a score of 209.15 on the final day of the three-day Purdue Invitational at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center. In her first time competing in the platform dive this season, Reyes broke Caroline Lecoeur's 2019 record of 177.10 by 32.05. On the swimming side, the Redbirds recorded numerous lifetime bests at the Purdue Invite, including three from Lauren Naeger in the 400 IM prelims and finals and the 100 butterfly prelims.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
This weekend's meeting with the Redbirds is the first meet of 2022 for UNI. At the Panthers last competition, the team recorded seven first-place finishes in the pool and junior Taylor Hogan picked up wins in both diving events at Omaha-Nebraska. UNI finished fifth behind the Redbirds at the 2020-21 MVC Championships.
