ST. CHARLES, Mo. – For the third meet in a row, Illinois State scored over 195 and for the second meet in a row the Redbirds defeated Lindenwood by way of a 195.150 to 194.150 final score on Sunday in St. Charles, Missouri.

"This was another solid meet and I'm so proud of this team. Four competitions within the last two weekends is a lot of gymnastics, but they handled it by consistently scoring right around 195 in all four meets. The team also had a lot of personal best and event and all-around victories during that stretch which bodes well for the final three meets of the regular season before the conference championship."

Team Notes:
•   The Redbirds got off to a solid start on bars, scoring a 48.750 to take a slight advantage into the second event.
•   Coming off a record-setting vault routine on Friday night, ISU followed it with a solid 48.850 to lead halfway through.
•   On floor, the Redbirds posted a 49.000 marking the third time this season they have posted that score or better on the event as they led heading into the final event.Â
•   ISU finished strong, posting a 48.550 on beam marking its highest score in the event in three meets.
Gymnast Notes:
•   Angelica Labat was back at it on Sunday, winning the all-around for the fourth time in a row this time with a score of 39.225 to finish ahead of teammate Alana Laster with a 39.100.
•   Labat set a season-high on vault with a 9.925 to take the event win and was followed in second place by Laster who posted her second 9.9 or better on the event this season.
•   The Redbirds took the top two spots on bars as well, as Sofia Iribarren and Madison Kipp tied for the event win with scores of 9.825.
•   Labat the was the top finisher on beam for the Redbirds, tying for second place with a 9.775.
•   Jaye Mack tied her career-high with a 9.900 on floor to take the event win, and Labat picked up a top-5 finish in fourth place with a 9.825.

ISU is back in action on Friday, February 25, when it travels to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for a dual meet with Southeast Missouri State at Houck Field House set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
