MIDDLETON, Wis. – As the Badger Invitational first day was postponed because of weather, a pair of Redbird individuals – Jack Paeglow and Pietro Pontiggia – were able to complete the opening round of a three-round Badger Individual, held at Pleasant View Golf Course.
Played exclusively by the individuals from the Badger Invitational, Paeglow is tied for 17th among the golfers, while Pontiggia is tied for 22nd on the par-71 course.
Paeglow finished with an eight-over 79 in difficult weather and course conditions, carding nine pars and a birdie. Pontiggia had two birdies and six pars for his nine-over 80.
The pair will return to the course tomorrow for the second and third rounds of the two-day event.
