NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State gymnastics head coach Bob Conkling has announced the addition of gymnast Jada Beswick (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) to the 2023-24 Redbird roster.
A Level 10/Senior Elite gymnast, Beswick competes in the all-around and specializes in beam and bars with First State Gymnastics.
"The coaching staff is excited to have Jada join our team this coming Fall," ISU head coach Bob Conkling said. "Jada is a clean and solid bars and beam gymnast, which fits exactly with we were looking for in a recruit. Â She also qualified to Nationals, which shows that she is a consistent gymnast on all four events."
Beswick placed third on bars and sixth in the all-around competition at Regionals in 2022, which qualified her to compete at Nationals. So far in 2023, she has placed in the top six on bars in every meet she has competed in.
