NOTES ON EVA

Reyes makes her third straight strip to NCAA Diving Zones, where she will compete in the 1M Dive on Thursday and 3M Dive on Friday. She is coming off another stellar performance at the MVC Championships, where Reyes won a third-straight 1M title and earned First Team All-MVC honors with a bronze medal in the 3M dive.

Reyes became the second diver in program history and the third diver in conference history to win three-straight 1M Dive titles. She joined Redbird Krystal Featherston (2003-2005) and Southern Illinois' Sherry Zhang (2014-2016) on the list of MVC Divers to win three consecutive 1M titles at the Valley championships.

Reyes is the only diver in league history to win 1M titles as a freshman, sophomore and junior.

NOTES ON MADYSON

Morse will represent Illinois State in the 50y and 100y Breaststroke this week in Florida. She looks to defend her 100y Breast NIC title from 2023, when she became the first Redbird in program history to win gold at the CSCAA NIC. Morse swam to a time of 1:01.25 in the prelims before besting that mark with a 1:00.68 to win the CSCAA NIC title last season.

More recently, Morse is coming off a pair of All-MVC showings at the 2024 MVC Championships. Morse turned in a silver-medal performance in the 100y Breast with a time of 1:00.38. En route to her title she broke her MVC and School record from last year's Valley Championships, turning in a prelim time of 1:00.29. Morse also earned bronze in the 200y Breast, going 2:15.34 for another First-Team All-MVC performance.
