NORMAL, Ill.-- Illinois State Swimming concluded a Senior Day win over Quincy Saturday, winning 12 of 14 events to secure a 174-80 win over the Hawks.
Of the 12 event wins, six came from the efforts of four Redbird seniors in Lauren Wisdom, Emma Feltzer, Sydney Hoff and Mia Snow. In the relays, the Birds were led by the team of Chloe Tyler, Hoff, Snow and Feltzer in the 200-yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:46.21.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay Hoff, Wisdom, Ella Glaspie and Lauren Hervey took fourth with a finish of 1:38.50.
INDIVIDUAL EVENT WINS-

Wisdom claimed two events in both the 1000-yard freestyle (10:55.24) and 500-yard freestyle (5:22.17)

Tyler took first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.20.

Hoff posted wins in both the 200-yard breaststroke (2:28.81) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.37).

Junior Giulia Basco recorded a first place finish in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 57.72.

Snow took the 50-yard freestyle event with a time of 24.18.

Feltzer recorded a title in the 100-yard freestyle (53.39).

Freshman Avery Watson rounded out the Redbird line-up taking first in the 200-yard IM with a final time of 2:19.12.
UP NEXT-
The Redbirds will travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to take on Missouri Valley Conference foe UNI for a two day meet on Jan, 17 and Jan, 18. Action will begin with diving at 5 p.m. Competition will continue on Saturday at 11 a.m. inside Glen F. Henry Pool.
