IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Illinois State track & field program closed out the Larry Wieczorek Invitational on Saturday afternoon in Iowa City
Senior Lindsey Miller ran a mark of 7.35 in the women's premier 60m dash. Miller remains in third-place in program history as she improved on her 7.37 mark set earlier this season.
Senior Mattison Plummer won the women's mile with a time of 4:41.12. Her mark is now the second-fastest time in program history. Plummer has joined the top-10 list in the women's mile and 3000m.
The men's 4x400m relay team recorded a time of 3:12.23 in a second-place effort. The Redbirds mark matches the second-fastest time in Illinois State history.
Junior Erin Starks and Senior Corrina Courser moved up on the program's top-10 list with times of 8.34 and 8.48 in the 60m hurdles. Starks and Courser followed up their last performance, improving on their times from the Coughlan-Malloy Cup.
Freshman Zach Paul recorded a time of 6.76 in the 60m dash prelims which moves him to sixth all-time.
Senior Windsor Roberts matched a season-best mark of 3.90 (12-9.5) to claim the women's pole vault event. On the men's side, Junior Charles Cruse recorded a season-best mark clearing the bar at 5.00m (16-4.75).
Freshman Julian Baker impressed in the men's mile after he earned a second-place finish with a time of 4:06.20.
