NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Athletic Department has announced a crossover package with the Bloomington Bison, where fans can choose one game from an available list of each organization's upcoming contests for just $29.
"We are excited about the partnership with the Bloomington Bison," said Associate Athletic Director for Revenue Generation Nathaniel Smith. "I want to give a thank you to Andy Zilch and his team for their collaboration and efforts in making this possible. It is our goal to continue providing flexible and affordable options for people in our community to attend ISU Athletics events. We hope that this is something that resonates with anyone looking to do something fun over the holiday weeks."
Among the available ISU men's basketball games include December 6 vs Chicago State, December 21 vs Indiana State, January 1 vs Evansville, and January 10 vs UIC. The Bison games include December 6 vs Kalamazoo, December 27 vs Iowa, January 7 vs Kalamazoo, and January 10 vs Cincinnati.
Both organizations are riding a hot stretch, as the Redbirds are 6-2 this season, have won their last five games, and are coming off a tournament win at the Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational with wins over Charlotte and Furman. The Bison are 8-4-2-2 this season and are 2-0-1 in their last three contests.
