Brown Quits Track and Field Team

Freshman sprinter Camari Brown has left the Illinois State track and field team and will not return, head coach Elvis Forde announced Tuesday. What disappoints me the most is that he did not fulfill his obligations for the entire year, Forde said. It hurts when you put so much time and effort into a kid and then they leave. But, its time to move on. I hope that things work out for Camari in his life. The Redbirds finish the outdoor portion of their season this weekend when they host the Missouri Valley Conference Championships May 12-15.
