NORMAL, Ill. -
Final Update: Due to the inclement weather surrounding the Weibring Golf Club Friday, play has been suspended until Saturday morning.
After no rounds able to be played Friday, Saturday will act as the first- and second-rounds of competition, consisting of 36 holes. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
At the conclusion of the two rounds, the individual and team champions will be named.
Admission to the MVC Championship will be free to all spectators, with four-passenger golf carts making continuous loops between the Weibring Golf Club parking lot and the four spectator zones (tee boxes 4, 7, 13 and 16).
Update Two: Inclement weather continued in Normal, pushing the delay of the 2011 Missouri Valley Conference Championship at the Weibring Golf Club back to 12:30 p.m. Coaches and teams will then reconvene to determine the schedule for today's rounds.
Update One: Due to thunderstorms in the surrounding area of the Weibring Golf Club, the 2011 Missouri Valley Conference Championship has been postponed until 9:30 a.m. Friday, when a coaches meeting will determine how the tournament will progress.
