TEMPE, Ariz. – Chase Pavelonis and Jianna Williams of the Illinois State track and field team wrapped up day one of the Sun Angel Track Classic at Arizona State Friday night.
Pavelonis failed to get above 5.05 (16-06.75) meters, finishing seventh in the open field, while Williams fouled on her three attempts in the hammer throw.
Saturday's events will begin with the open women's discus at 12 p.m. (CST). The first event on the track, 100m hurdles, begins at 4:34 p.m. (CST). The Sun Angel Premiere races will begin at 8:10 p.m. (CST), and that section will be streamed on TheSunDevils.com.
