NORMAL, Ill. – The Redbirds completed the Redbird Invitational Sunday, Nov.4 at the Bloomington Tennis Center in where Pol Botifoll Rius earned a flight B championship win over Chicago State's Felix Savard.
"This was a great way to finish the fall slate as our guys picked up a lot of quality wins," head coach Mark Klysner said. "I think it was a good end to a pretty successful fall season. Shout out to Pol for winning the B flight title and playing some high level tennis. I'm just really happy for him and also the guys on how they competed this weekend."
Cameron Peterson earned third place in flight B with his win over Marquette's Julian Robinson, while Igor Kolaric blanked Chicago State's Cody Wurzelbacher.

The 'Birds concluded their fall season with the Redbird Invitational and will be back on the court Saturday, Jan. 19 to face Drake in Des Moines, Iowa.
